The list is headed by Jim Halfpenny, a member of the Renfrewshire branch of Solidarity-Scotlands Socialsit Movement, a socialist of some 20 plus years. He works in Vale of Leven, West Dunbartonshire as a school teacher teaching Modern Studies and is a member of the Educational Institute of Scotland(EIS). He is a member of the Committee for a Workers International platform and their Scottish organisation International Socialists.

We have chosen candidates to reflect the region, the gender, the age, the commitment is as important as the most high profile candidates. I have offered my services to the List as Election Agent but will seek nomination at next regional Meeting
