The Russian Revolution Today:
2007 marks the 90th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. There will be a number of sessions at Socialism 2007 looking at the inspiring events of 1917, as well as drawing out the lessons we can take from it for or struggles today.

Sessions on the Russian Revolution include:
History of the Russian Revolution:
Who led the February Revolution?
July: Days of insurrection
October: revolution or coup?
Lessons of the revolution:
Who were the Bolsheviks?
Is revolution still possible today?
Was Stalinism inevitable?
What were they fighting for?
Closing rally:

Creche
There will be full crθche facilities but places must be booked in advance. Please email us details of children (i.e. age and other important information such as foods they cannot eat etc.)

Food
There will be food on sale in the ULU snack bar.

Accommodation
You can book bed and breakfast hostel places through us for Saturday night for £16 per place. You will share with three others from your region. The accommodation is close to the venue, clean, secure, there is a bar, and has had good reviews.

You can request to stop with a London Socialist Party member, but remember you will need money for travelling across London and may have to sleep on a sofa or floor. You will need to find out who you are staying with and arrange to meet them. Please bring a sleeping bag.
